Your mom was a very wise nurse. And 100% correct. Eventually, you stop thinking about Death as the enemy. I know watching Humans pass has helped me form my end-of-life philosophy. Death doesn’t scare me at all — fighting the losing battle to live when I should be easing into Death gives me much more pause these days. ❤
