You were not a bad person — you were/are simply Human. And I often consider that perhaps one of the reasons we’re here on Gaia is to fuck up. Completely. Grandly. Absolutely. And then we wake up & it’s tomorrow — a brand new day to start all over again. And guess what? We’ll do it again. I think most days — I try very hard to forgive myself my humanity. Because all Humans are incredibly, beautifully flawed beings. I spent 7 years on a bright orange couch in the office of a most excellent therapist and still — I have to remind myself that I’m Human. Not Wonder Woman, not Black Widow — not a super hero in sight around here. Take heart, Valerie. Tomorrow is a brand new day. ❤
