Whenever someone starts complaining to me about the care they received, I never defend the caregiver. For a myriad of reasons - but mostly because I know - I've worked with MDs & nurses who should NOT be in healthcare. And I remind everyone - What do you call the medical student who graduated LAST in their class? The answer is Doctor. It's the same with nursing.

Not only should your LEEP have had a consent - there should have been a time out done as well. I had to be put under for mine, so it was done in a surgery center. I'm glad you haven't had any further issues since your surgery. I wish I could say the same.
