Touching a face is really quite an interpersonal gesture. One if the things mothers do when feeding a baby, lovers do to convey tenderness, caregivers do to covet comfort.
It is a boundary we cross with only those we hold most intimate.
I have stroked the faces of many strangers — as a nurse my experience is unique I’m sure. I know the power of touch that gesture conveys is one of the most profound in our arsenal of love.
What a great piece and just know I’ll be chewing on this one all day!!
Thank you!!! ❤️
