This post was inspired by a woman who holds the completely opposite from me view on nearly every topic you can imagine. But as I read all that she had written — I recognized the thing we had in common: desparation. We desperately wanted to protect our children from a view we held of the world. We had complete opposite ideas of who were the bad guys and who were the good guys — but our goal was the exact. same. thing. Security and a future for our families.

I could feel every emotion in every word — because I FELT THEM TOO. The only difference was we had completely different answers to the same very very important questions facing our world.

Likely — VERY likely — we are both wrong and the real answers like somewhere in the middle. We can get there — but we have to start listening to each other and we have to realize fear will lead us to our destruction. Love is the only way to save our kids.
