There is a lot of judgment in our society around rape culture. And many preconceived notions entrenched within our society. Even a movement like #metoo is not immune from them. Individuals get sacrificed to the greater good. While Dr. Ford might be our hero — the personal cost to her life has been immense. Some of us are more willing to let Karma have at that bastard and call it good.

Perhaps— she landed mine in the hands of the Viet Kong. One just never knows.

But letting go of needing to personally bring about justice on my end lead me to a peaceful place. And no one is pulling me out of my peace these days. I worked too hard to get there.
