Faith

Faith. Not religion. Let’s be clear here. I am talking about the stuff you carry around inside of your own being.

Your personal bit of The Divine.

I haven’t attended mass in a very, very long time. I’m not even tempted — especially in These Days. But I have Faith. Deep. Abiding. Vast. Faith in a benevolent Universe.

To confuse religious traditions with Faith is an error many make. In fact, many churches insist one cannot have Faith without religion.

But they are wrong. We can. We do.

You don’t have to believe in all the old religions to bring forward into Your Life their sacred traditions. You don’t have to believe in the literal telling of The Christ’s birth to know we are entering Holy Times. You don’t have to light the candles to understand the banishment of darkness. You don’t have to gather, or tithe, or attend services to feel The Presence.

She is always there — in our hearts. Our spark of Divinity. Our ability to Love. Our capacity for compassion.

I trust Life. I have a profound belief in The Divine. I have felt Her Love surround me and support me over and over again in My Life. During the darkest nights. I know Her Light never fails to return and guide my path.

I have Faith.

Namaste.
