The parable The Good Samaritan is a favorite of most Christian religions. The irony being the ‘hated’ and ‘evil’ Samaritan choses love and compassion while people of faith — priests, rabbis & nuns — leave a Human broken and dying by the side of the road.

Who is the Samaritan today? Was this a parable? Or a premonition?

We who are ‘other’ to THE religion show compassion because it is who we are. Not because we are trying to get to heaven. And that makes all the difference because we are compassionate even when no one is watching. To everyone. Everywhere. Without exception.
