The kidney transplants would go to the PACU for maybe their first hour or so, but when we got them they were still at least on q 1 hour vitals for a bit & then the Is & Os were intense-- as you are well aware! :) We rarely extubated livers, hearts, or lungs in the OR - though on occasion it might happen.
