Being brave, showing courage, living authentically isn’t so hard — it only takes one key ingredient. (Insert sarcastic emoji here).

However, you really do have to trust The Universe enough to take the next steps on The Path when She is so very clearly pointing The Way. You follow your gut down the trail and follow the signs. And when you aren’t sure where to set your next footfall you look up to see the NEON sign over a spot — you trust this is the place you need to go.
Even if to logical minds, cautious minds, conservative, self-protective minds — you seem to be stepping on a landmine.
It’s true some of us are more in tune to Her whispers. We feel Her guiding hand and we are less risk avoidant. We’ve tried to live life on our own — stubborn hacking through the forest with no compass and it’s been a bloody, pain-filled mess.
We’ve been sat down and turned around so many times we’ve lost count. Until we finally started to look up at the sky. To listen to the breeze. To feel the vibrations of our steps. To look, listen, feel — The Signs.
Even now though — it’s scary as hell when we draw in a breath and take a plunge. One hopes it gets easier with practice, but what one finds is just the opposite. The stakes get higher. The safety net seems smaller. Your faith grows and you just do what you need to do.
You remember how far you’ve come from the trembling frightened creature you used to be — before you heard Her call your name. And you remember to trust Her once again.
Because that is what faith is. Faith isn’t believing in Happily Ever After. Faith is knowing you are doing what you are supposed to be doing in your Now. And if doing this Right Thing causes the shit to hit the fan and chaos to insue — for you or anyone else in its path — She will be there. And you will all land where you were always meant to be.
Kali Destroyer Goddess uses Her power to bring about rebirth. Everyone wants that wondrous gift. Hardly any are willing to trust the firestorm which brings it.
Today — do The Hard Thing. Today — do The Right Thing. Today — do The Thing you know you are supposed to do. It might change your life — or it might change someone else’s life. But trust that no matter what happens after — you will all end up right exactly where you are meant to be.
May you walk through your fire with grace. May your heart be at peace knowing you ARE the fire. May you trust the journey which brings you to your destination on the other side of the flames.
