I came home several days early from The Great East Coast Friends & Family tour. The Universe spoke and I listened. Because I have found when the improbable happens — when massive obstacles are placed in your path — you are on the wrong path.
In July, I traveled for twenty-one days. I covered nearly 2000 miles and was physically IN eleven different states and The District Of Columbia. I was nearly at the end of my travels when I was exposed to COVID.
Many of you might not be surprised because that’s a lot of ground to cover and the chances I’d bump into some random, unvaccinated stranger on my travels was not in my favor. But The Universe doesn’t work like that. I was exposed to a completely asymptomatic and vaccinated friend. They found out they were positive for COVID when they were admitted to the hospital for some tests related to a chronic health issue.
The Universe made sure I understood — it was time to go home. She made sure I KNEW. Because what are the odds of it being revealed that a vaccinated individual had an asymptomatic infection? Contact tracing went the way of masking ages ago. We take it on good faith that anyone vaccinated is a safe Human to interact with.
