That's hard! How will you ever know what they're looking for if you don't get feedback? The only thing I can think to suggest is to look at what does make it into the publication & attempt to model your work more in line with that style. And go over their submission guidelines with a fine tooth comb, make sure there's not any obvious deal breakers in your work right out of the gate.
