That was really one of the very coolest things! I know that my team would put a mosquito clamp on the ureter to keep the urine out of the field while they finished attaching it to the bladder. But always, a cheer would go up as the grey kidney filled back up with blood & turned pink. Every time. An additional cheer would be had at the first drops of urine.
