Thank you, Jan. I have been able to replicate several of her recipes — she actually wrote some down in her old green cookbook. But for the most part, I think she just made it up as she went along on some stuff. LOL

But yes, completely fitting. My Aunt was the same — my cousins & I have searched high & low for a sugar cookie recipe that comes close to that perfect sugar cookie my Aunt made. I even watched her bake them when I was a kid. She didn’t use a measuring cup — just scooped the flour & sugar up with her hand.
