I was tagged in a recent story by Mary McGrath and challenged to write three tales of My Life. Two would be the truth and nothing but the truth. One would be a complete fabrication. Per Mary’s request, I’m tagging five of my favorite writers to continue the challenge if they dare. I’m also including Mary’s story at the end. Feel free to join the guessing game on her story as well.

The rules: Below are three scenarios. Two of them are true, and one of them is false. Post which story you think is false in the chat, and then invite five writers to play along. Please tag me too — I want to see what you all come up with!

Have fun! And let’s exercise those muses!!!

  1. My oldest sister is my birth mother. The woman who raised me and died when I was 12 was, in fact, my grandmother. However, I didn’t find out until I was an adult that I had been adopted by the Humans I believed to be my birth parents.
  2. One of the worst jobs I ever had was as a drill press operator in a machine shop. I worked with only men — who made terrible coffee. And I was paid just over $2.00/hour for the pleasure.
  3. I have purple hair, but my favorite color is really green. I dyed my hair purple because I let The Middle Magical Creature choose the color and purple…
