Oh wait - they're still curating? A year ago in August I had 11 pieces curated. Enter 2020 - the last time I didn't automatically get the "Not distributed in topics" flag was in March...I believe....or was it May? One of the "M" months. Apparently the quality of my work has completely sunk to new - horrid- uncuratable levels.

Luckily - I don't need to earn a living writing. But still - it smarts to think no one at Medium is even looking at my pieces to decide. They just languish in the "Hang On! We're working on this" folder until I'm pretty sure the system automatically kicks them out after a set number of days.
