My donors were simply amazing Humans — every single one of them. I was their advocate so if it wasn’t in their best interest to donate — I was the one tasked with breaking the news. When any kind of health risk was diagnosed and they were ruled out — most were crushed. Your friend is a brave & wonderful woman. I’m so glad she & her brother had a good outcome.
