I've worn glasses since 4th grade for my near-sightedness. I've worn contacts since I was 16 because I hated said glasses. I have a pair of progressive lens glasses that I can use to read in bed after I've taken out my contacts. But whenever my eye MD asks if I want to replace them (they're about 15 years old) - I tell her, the glasses have hardly any miles on them. I wear the glasses in the morning to find my contacts & I put them on at night after I remove my contacts to find my bed.
To remember if I've taken my vitamins or not, I will set my calcium tabs out on my kitchen counter (they need to be take with food & I'll do that at lunch). At the same time I'm setting out the calcium tabs - I'm chewing my vitamin gummy. Later in the morning - when I can't remember if I've taken my vitamin - I'll check the kitchen counter, if the calcium tabs are there, I know I've taken the vitamin as well.
