It’s life changing. My hearing loss was so subtle — over the course of years. I had started using sub-titles a good 3 years ago. But the thing that got me into the audiologists was the research regarding dementia. Dementia doesn’t run in my father’s family — it gallops. And in hindsight, I know most of my relatives who suffered with it were hard of hearing first. My kids are tremendously relieved. Thanks — it’s very good to be home! :)
