It’s been over 8 years in the works — since the divorce — nine years since the separation. The road hasn’t been very smooth in places and there have lessons I’ve had to been taught over and over again. There have long periods of solitude — a couple of times they were each nearly a year long — when I was alone on ‘sabbatical’ from any kind of relationship altogether. When I just did me and that helped a lot. The most important lesson I learned was to trust the process. To believe The Universe already knows what I need and to let go of trying to make that happen. She has brought me love in ways I never could have imagined. One of the best books I ever read was “Outrageous Openness” by Tosha Silver. It helped me let go and see The Divine in my everyday.
