I'm not surprised. I think there are a lot of "less than great" dads out there. It's especially hard at Father's Day & other events to hear the glory of good fathers celebrated. And celebrate them we should - don't get me wrong. It's just that not everyone has That Dad. It seems to me though - that your wife found a man who could be That Dad to her children and help her raise them into successful & productive Humans. And that is no small feat.

Hold her close. She deserves every ounce of your kindness. <3
