I'm a retired OR nurse. I did a lot of plastics in my time. And had some colleagues who had 'work done'. They looked great - until the swelling went down. After that - I never could notice much of a difference in their faces. Except maybe when they smiled it looked kinda creepy. Even botox injections. I had another colleague who had a tummy tuck and breast lift. If she went down a size - no one could really notice. It might be she no longer needed spanx to get there - but truly - spanx is a whole lot cheaper, safer, and much less painful.

There are valid conditions that plastic surgery can help with. Reconstruction, scar removals, eye lid lifts when your vision is becoming impaired. But my advice to you and all Humans is to avoid ORs or even procedure rooms at all costs. The risk of surgery never outweighs the outcome. And time will march on - the 'outcome' is only temporary. Much better to spend that money on therapy to learn how to love yourself - even your aging, out of shape self - just as you are.
