I'd be a bit confused as well. I know more than one transgendered individual. Before they go in for any surgical procedures - they live as their internal gender for a long time. That includes taking hormones & dressing the part. I'm not sure what Anthony/Amelia's deal is but he/they are certainly a bit of an outlier. But at this stage of my life - it's to each their own. Though I do apologize when I get pronouns wrong.
