I worked in my parent's business for as long as I can remember as a kid. I worked on my aunt's farm mucking out stalls & putting in hay. In high school I got a part-time job but I ended up back helping my dad. For the joy of the work - no pay involved! LOL! Never work for family! I didn't become a nurse until I was 34. But even with little kids at home, I always had a part time gig someplace beofre then. This is the first time since my kids were babies that I have this kind of schedule. And actually - back then - they set the schedule!
