I worked for a university hospital. Sadly — the university — not the hospital — owned all the parking garages. We paid through the nose. Other area private hospitals used to use Free Parking as a recruitment incentive because it was so damn expense. AND you had to earn the priviledge to even give them your money. LOL. New employees had to park in park & rides and take buses the rest of the way onto campus. I got good parking about my 4th or 5th year there and just ignored how much they took out of my check each pay period because I really HATED riding buses.
The hamster — in a nurse’s cap — on a wheel will be forever etched in my mind. Thanks for that! :)
I’m a minimalist — so capitalism is completely wasted on me. Unless I’m shopping for my granddaughters. ;)
