I was married to a very good man for 32 years. That’s WHY the rest were assholes. No one ever came up to the bar he set. The men I met in person — without benefit of a dating app — were not so bad. But in the end — stuff happened. Like the one who broke up on me at 0800 on Valentine’s Day morning — via text & before coffee. Or perhaps the biggest asshole award goes to the man who ghosted me the day my former husband died. Then there was the guy from Australia who moved in & then never got a job, but just allowed me to financially support him.
You can certainly understand why I feel like my man-picker is broken and why I have a rather bad taste in my mouth regarding dating. I’m finally listening to my inner knowing and leaving the opposite sex alone.
:) Have a great day & thank you for your support. And yes, I agree — the best comedy always has a measure of truth in it.
