I was an oncology nurse navigator for a couple of years just prior to retirement. Ask you primary surgeon who your nurse navigator is. She/he should help you get appointments sorted & in a timely manner. She/he is also there for you guys. She/he knows the road ahead & can help you make your way with less obstacles.
