I think that whenever we are discriminated against - we seek to find the reason why we are now "other". For me - my personality & lack of social skills has often made me a difficult person to be around. I am an 'acquired taste.' Whether it's my age, my gender, my belief system, or my purple hair - I AM different than most strangers whom I encounter.

I don't mind being unique. I always think of the game of Tetris. We all know what happens when we fit in - we disappear. I refuse to be invisible. And so - I am not.
