I think a lot of what we used to do unconsciously — at least for some of us — has been found to be just that. Not worth it.

The food I make at home is by far better than most I can get out at a restaurant. I also know it’s healthier for me. Is it less convenient? Sort of. Because if you factor into the equation the TIME I used to spend sitting in restaurants & pubs waiting on my food — I can make something equally or better tasting in less time at home.

I’m not going back to the ‘good’ old days. It’s not worth it — as you so wisely point out.
