I remember one day back in the marital home, I turned to my husband and told him I was going to go through everything we owned. I was going to find it, touch it, & decide if we needed to keep the item. We ended up loading up the back of his truck & hauling a huge load to Goodwill. Of course, that was only jointly owned stuff. My husband’s garage & music room didn’t get sorted out until he was in Maryland & I was doing the packing. :) But still, it hardly made a dent in the Stuff we had.

You’re so right — we spend our whole lives accumulating things, only to realize as we age how much stuff is just stuff and not serving us any longer.
