I once made the mistake of answering the phone and got the IRS scammers. He threatened to come to my house with police and have me arrested if I didn’t pay him. I explained to him — “Oh Honey…that’s not how it works in America. The IRS sends you a letter. Then they just dock your wages. We don’t have a debtors prison over here. Poor Lamb. Oh — and BTW — I do happen to BE the police — and I AM coming for YOU.”
