I loved this piece. And yes, at one time or another, I was guilty of many of those 7 bits of denial. One day, I noticed that I never decorated with mirrors. I have many friends who have beautiful mirrors hung like paintings in their homes. My therapist gave me homework - I was to shop (with a friend) for a beautiful mirror to hang in my home & I was to put it in a place where I would walk by it every day. I found one - gorgeous with stained glass around it's frame. It hangs at the bottom of my steps & I pass by it several times a day. I call it my 'Magic Mirror' because I am able to see myself in it & per my therapist's instructions - send myself kindness, love, & compassion every time I see my reflection. :)
