I have lived in a community for the past 10 years that have landscapers as part of their HOA fees. It's been really lovely to not have to even think about the exterior of my home.

When I worked, I had a cleaning service. But I've noticed that since I retired - I have the time & I don't really mind cleaning my own spaces. Same with cooking - I rarely eat out these days. It has become a treat rather than a perpetual way to feed myself when I'm too exhausted to think about making anything but microwave popcorn.

My advice is this: retirement is about doing what you enjoy. If you don't enjoy it - if it robs you of your peace & you can outsource it then it's perfectly OK to outsource.
