I have also found great comfort in Pema Chodron's words. She is a Buddhist monk - but also a former wife & mother. I feel like she has insights into the life of a woman & her words resonate strongly with me. My two favorites of hers are: When Things Fall Apart & The Places That Scare You. The later was the first book of hers I ever read. I came to the party late & then proceeded to devour her previous works.
I'm proud of you too. Grief can be truly debilitating. Do what you can - where you are at - with what you have. And that recipe can change each day. Each moment. Know you loved & thought of with the deepest of compassion & concern. But we all know - this is your path. And we all have faith in your ability to live your life as Ben would have wanted you to. Even if he no longer walks it with you. <3 I know this because love is like that - it always wants the best for each partner.
