I got hearing aids this spring - mainly because my daughter hounded me about not only being deaf - but also being at risk for dementia. Vascular dementia doesn't run in my family - it gallops. So I went in. I was amazed at the difference they made & invested in a set. I no longer have to figure out different ways to ask people to repeat themselves. "Say again?" "I'm so sorry, I didn't catch that, could you repeat it?" "Please Magical Creature, come closer so Nana can actually understand what you're saying." Yeah - now I can hear my washing machine & dishwasher. It's a whole new world out there. ;) Glad you are under the care of an audiologist. Much good mojo for continued stable hear tests. <3
