I am a former OR nurse. And I can tell you from a medical perspective, I would never undergo surgery that didn't address a functional issue or health concern. I've had friends who have had full face lifts & they looked great - for about 2 months. Then the swelling went down & you couldn't really tell the before & after photos apart.

I've worked with plastic surgeons all of my career. With all practitioners, be sure you are attended to by the very best. You're a customer - as well as a patient. Look at a doctor's resume, talk to former patients - and remember that 50% of the surgeons out there graduated in the lower half of their medical class.
