I also have this condition & have had it for over a decade. It was hastened by the fact that I was and OR nurse & used harsh chemicals daily when I scrubbed into cases. I have found eating kale or sweet potatoes (high levels of Vitamin K) daily as well as using Cerve moisturizer on my arms after my shower had greatly reduced the marks left on my arms. I can usually throw a bandaid over them instead of the long sleeves. The bruises are smaller & heal faster as well. In the past, my skin would tear and I would bleed all over and require a telfa dressing with paper tape because anything other than that would simply make the mark larger.
I had tried Vitamin A supplements for years - but unfortuneately my liver didn't like them. But by using topical treatments & EATING my Vitamin A - I saw a drastic improvement in my skin's ability cope with minor bumps.
