I agree 100%. I was an OR nurse with asthma who worked 40+ hours/week for over 25 years in a mask. Humans take offense at the oddest stuff.
I'm still more cautious than many of my friends. But it sure feels good to start doing some of the stuff that brings me joy and that I day dreamed about doing in retirement.
I'll fly again in the future. It was a good experience and I miss traveling. I think each one of us - especially those of us with more to loose because of our higher risk for severe illness - have to weigh the risks versus the benefits of any outing we go to.
I managed to get a cold this winter - the first I've had in a very long time. But the asthma did a bit better than normal, so it all balanced out.
Stay well, Chris! And thanks so much for reading & responding. I appreciate it! :)
