Don't laugh - I have. :) The beach seems to be the only place I don't run into this pollen. I'm thinking Red Cedar doesn't do well in sand. One February - I rented a condo at the beach for a month. It helped, but I was pretty isolated & lonely. After all - who wants to visit you at the beach in February? And there was a lot of must and mold in the place as it had been closed up for months. Another year, I went to Arizona. Every one believes the desert to be a mecca for those with pulmonary issues. Nope - the juniper that is EVERYWHERE there did me in. By the time I got home, I hardly had the breath to tell the cab driver my address.
This is the devil I know. But it's a tough call for sure. Because most places in the country have native Red Cedar and at least here - I have friends who will help take care of me if I need them. That's huge. <3
