As I have gotten older — being under-estimated has been rather fun. It has become a great good game to serve crow up to my colleagues for snacks. Anyone who knows me professionally doesn’t make that mistake twice these days — often my reputation precedes me. So hang in there. On a personal note — my daughters were annoyed as teenagers that I always got mistaken for their older sister…right up until…now in their 30s they realized they likely inherited those same genes. You’re welcome kiddos. :) I actually got carded at a Doobie Brothers concert last year. The running joke was — Really? Who under 21 actually would attend a Doobie Brothers Concert?? But still — I gave the guy a big tip for making my night. It’s the little kindnesses. ❤
