As a mom of 2 adult women and grandmother to 3 young girls — this is the best piece of advice in the whole post. I had a daughter who loved ballet — and soccer, and softball, and cross-country. Her sister loved art -and tennis. One was a complete girly-girly in her style the other a bit of a tomboy until they became teenagers — then they swapped roles and became Ms Grunge and Ms Preppy. Kids are individuals. No real rules can apply across the board even within the same family except give the kids a chance to find themselves —let them chose who they will become. PS I love the tutu photo. One of my grand kids is obbessed with them. :)
