Another truly beautiful piece. As a child, I lost my mother. And as a nurse, I have held the hand of the dying more times than I can count. I sometimes wonder about my own death & how it will affect those I hold most dear. Most especially, The Magical Creatures. I would never willingly cause them any pain - and yet, I know that one day - as we all do - I will have to leave them.
