In a few minutes, I’m leaving home for an EPIC adventure with some of My Favorite People. We are taking a Road Trip to see PINK! (IKR?)
This is the last chapter in what has been a really great week. Let me tell you what! And after being sick for most of February — I am happy beyond words to be feeling well again.
And there it is.
Did you catch it?
The contrast — the shade of White to Black — The Light to The Dark.
Because while I’m sure I would have been really excited to go see this show with my dear friends — and grateful for this lovely week — having it come on the heels of so much suffering last month makes me even more grateful.
The Thankfulness in my heart to be well. To have the J.O.B I have with the bosses I have. To have such wonderful friends. To be able to go to this show — physically, financially, emotionally. To Have The Life I Have…
Because last month for a while there — I wasn’t sure I’d make it back to My Normal Life.
But I did.
I’m in The White for now. But I know The Joy in my heart for standing in this place comes from the time I spent in The Black last month. So rather than be bitter and fight it — I choose to be grateful for that experience as well.
Now excuse me — I have a date with PINK!
